Caring for your jewelry

Each piece of jewelry is designed and crafted by hand locally in our Washington, DC studio.

Every item is unique due to the nature of materials used. Natural variations in color and markings are expected and part of the beauty and specialness of each piece.

To keep jewelry in pristine condition and avoid tarnishing and scratches, store jewelry in a dry area with low humidity, wipe with a cotton ball or polish with a soft microfiber cloth after each wear, and minimize direct contact with hard items including other pieces of jewelry (for example in separate pouches or bins).

A recommended polishing cloth is available for sale here on our website (they are also easily available on Amazon). 

Remove jewelry before bathing or engaging in activities which may cause jewelry to come in contact with sweat. If jewelry gets wet, it can be dried with a soft cloth.

Repairs

Need a repair? Please reach out to hello@hoganparker.com and include “Jewelry Repair Request” in the subject line. We will do our very best to repair any pieces as needed, as quickly as possible.

Depending on the type of restoration needed, this work may incur a fee. However, in most cases we are able to happily offer this as a complementary service.
